LaVerne J. Wills, 80 of Shullsburg, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Sienna Crest in Mineral Point. Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Shullsburg. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Galena, Ill.  He was born Sept. 24, 1931, in Hazel Green, the son of Charles and Catherine (Freese) Wills.
