Lawrence J. Schurz, 89, died on Saturday afternoon Dec. 27 at his residence in Rewey.

Visitation will be held from 3–7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at the Soman–Larson Funeral Home in Montfort. Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3 at Mifflin Cemetery with military honors to be accorded by the Montfort VFW.
