Marjorie E. Hoppe, 91, of Platteville, formerly of Gilmanton and Bayside, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Southwest Health Center Hospital, Platteville.

A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville.  Pastor Zayna Thompson will officiate.  Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery, Platteville, immediately following the celebration of life.  Friends may call from 10:30 until the time of the celebration of life at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hoppe/Connolly Families Scholarship Fund, Dubuque Bank & Trust, 2196 Holliday Drive, Dubuque, Iowa 52002.  This scholarship fund for Platteville High School students is being established  in appreciation to Dr. Michael Connolly for his concern & care given to Marjorie over the past nine years.
