Nancy J. Hood, 71, Platteville, formerly of New Jersey, died on Monday, Nov. 20 at her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial was at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Platteville. Bishop Morlino and Father Pedro Escibano officiated. Burial was at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Mechanicsburg, Pa.  Visitation was from 6–8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville, where there was a parish rosary at 7:15 p.m. There was no visitation held on Saturday.
