Ruth Kaster, age 87, of Argyle, passed away Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014, at Monroe Manor in Monroe. She was born Feb. 4, 1927 in Fayette Township in Lafayette County, the daughter of James and Martha (McKillip) McDonald.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Argyle, a branch of St. Isidore Parish, 213 North Lafayette Street in Argyle with Rev. Thomas Gillespie officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in rural Argyle. A visitation was held Tuesday, December 2, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erickson Funeral Home, 801 East Milwaukee Street in Argyle and on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass at the church.
