Thomas “Tom” Melvin, 70, of Readstown passed away Monday morning, January 5, 2015 at Sannes Skogdalen Nursing Home in Soldiers Grove.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Viroqua. Monsignor Michael Gorman officiated. Jacinta Henden was the pianist and music was provided by St. Mary’s Choir. Friends called at the Thorson Funeral Home in Viroqua on Wednesday, January 7. Burial was in the St. James Catholic Cemetery at Rising Sun. Serving as casket bearers were Zachary Zitzner, Tyler Zitzner, Andrew Wirtz, Tim Zitzner, Kyle Nauertz and Brice Bjornstad.
