The Family Roller-Skating planned for this Sunday is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. We will eagerly work toward trying again for Sunday, April 29th.

Another Community Social to share ideas for renovating the Historic River District and to solicit volunteers and sponsors is planned for Saturday, April 14 in the Old Town Community Building. We hope to have sketches of possibilities and, weather permitting, a tour of the Main Street late that afternoon.

A meal is planned for 5:30 p.m. A simple salad, main dish, bread, snack, or dessert brought to be shared by those who can will be greatly appreciated.

For those interested and able, an action-packed film with a message about commitment has been arranged for 6:30. It will be a busy night later with the North Crawford prom and the monthly square dance at the Kickapoo Cultural Exchange, but we’ll hope. It’s all good ways to be with neighbors and helps launch some spring projects for downtown.
