MUSCODA – Riverdale youth wrestlers had a lot of success recently in several competitions.

Grant Mathews won the, 270-lb state championship at the Wisconsin Folkstyle Youth Wrestling Tournament for boys born 2007-2008, held March 26 in Madison.

Grant Mathews won the, 270-lb state championship at the Wisconsin Folkstyle Youth Wrestling Tournament for boys born 2007-2008, held March 26 in Madison. In Grant’s first match, he pinned Declan Nason of Stateline Stingers in 1:25, and in his second match, he pinned Justin Olson of Waupaca in 1:04. In the championship round, Grant pinned Javier Contreras of Luxemburg-Casco in 2:35 earning him the 1st place win. 


Riverdale folk-style wrestlers do well
