NORTH CRAWFORD - The Seneca volleyball team traveled to North Crawford on Thursday, Sept. 26.
The Indians won in three sets–25-18, 25-8 and 25-19.
Seneca’s Makenna Greene had 10 kills and five aces, while Anya Aspenson and Savanna Wallin each had five kills. Delaney Boland had three kills and Ava Payne had four kills.
Nicky Trautsch had 18 assists, while Grace Check had six digs.
The Trojans did a lot of good things, but just had too many errors against a tough Seneca team.
North Crawford’s Lydia Barr was the only team member who served above 90 percent–serving 93.3 percent with three service aces. She also had 12 assists and three kills.
Emily Hanson led the Trojans with six kills and Hallie Toedter had four kills.
Sarah Hanson led the Trojans with two solo blocks and one block assist. Hallie Toedter had nine digs, while Emily, Sarah, Kloee Chamberlain and Angie Herfel each had seven digs.
The Trojans are 2-1 in conference play.
