LANCASTER – In their final home game of the season, the Flying Arrow football team sent visiting Osseo-Fairchild home with a 56-12 loss last Friday night in a WIAA division 6, level 1 playoff contest.

Coach John Hoch’s squad improved to 9-1 on the season and has secured a second-round rematch with Mineral Point (10-0) this Friday night on the Pointer’s home field. 

Against Osseo-Fairchild, the Arrows opened up their passing attack, while also maintaining their dominance on the ground.

Coming into the game, Lancaster averaged just 5.3 passing attempts per game, completing an average of 2.4, for an average of just 35 yards passing per game. They also scored five touchdowns through the air in their first nine games combined.

Last Friday night, junior quarterback Hayden Knapp completed a season-high 8-of-12 passing attempts for 126 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
