Robert “Bob” and Gloria Giesen of Lancaster will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 25, 2014.
They will hold an open house at the Cassville Conservation Club from 1-4 p.m.
Robert married Gloria Simpson on Oct. 24, 1964 at the E&R Church in Lancaster. Robert retired from John Deere Dubuque Tractor Works in 1994. Gloria retired from substitute teaching in 2010.
The have two children, Dawn (Dion) Bevan of Mineral Point and Rob (Cari) Giesen of DeForest.
The couple plan a trip south later.
