Ralph and Rita (Vaassen) Curtis, Platteville, will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on July 15 with a family dinner at the Elmo Club. The couple was united in marriage at St. Rose Catholic Church in Cuba City on July 16, 1957.
The couple has three children, Mike (Sue) Curtis, Mineral Point, Cathy (Larry) Lichter, Fox Lake, Ill., and Kelly (Ron) Cooley, Lancaster. They have seven grandchildren, Dylan Lichter, Michelle Lichter, Alison Arendt, Adam Arendt, Taylor Welsch, Kelsey Welsch and Morgan Cooley.
