Leo and Kathy Reisner of Potosi, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
Leo and Kathy Mason Reisner were married on Sept. 10, 1966 by the bride’s uncle, Rev. Jacob Roth, at Sacred Heart Church in Oelwein, Iowa. After retiring from John Deere in Waterloo, Iowa, the couple moved to Potosi in 2000 where they now reside.
They have three children: Kenny (Teresa) of Oelwein, Iowa, Craig of Oelwein, Iowa, and Carrie Wright Simmons of Potosi. They also have four grandsons: Alex, Hunter, Travis and Cooper. One grandson, Jared Jon, is deceased.
An open house is being hosted by the couple’s children on Saturday, Sept. 10, at Ss. Andrew/Thomas School in Potosi, from 1 to 4 p.m.
