Eric and Rebecca Steffes, Mineral Point, are the parents of a son, Emmitt James Steffes, born Jan. 27, 2012, at Southwest Health Center in Platteville. He weighed in at 5 pounds, 11 ounces and was 18 inches long. He joins a brother, Lance, 13, and sister, Madelyn, 3.
Grandparents are Ralph and Mary Jean James and Donna Steffes, all of Mineral Point.
