Steve and Cindy Bechtolt of South Wayne announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Bechtolt, to Andrew Caruso, son of Roland and Anita Caruso of Freeport.
The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Black Hawk High School. She earned a bachelor of education degree in physical education with an emphasis in health and human performance from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2011. She is currently employed as an educator at The Goddard School in Hawthorn Woods, Ill.
The groom-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Freeport High School. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice from St. Ambrose University in 2008. He is currently employed as a benefit coordinator at West Lake Financial Group in Buffalo Grove, Ill.
The couple will be married on Aug. 18, 2012, at St. Johns United Church of Christ in Monroe. A reception and dance will follow at The Masonic Temple in Freeport.
