Kayla Kastner and Kody Cathman, Platteville, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. The wedding ceremony will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 at Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens in Dubuque. A reception and dance will be held from 6 - 11:30 p.m. at Sunset Lanes in Dickeyville.
Parents of the future bride are David and Rachel Kastner, Dallas, Texas, and Mike and Gina Ubersox, Platteville. Parents of the future groom are Burdell and Sheila Cathman, Fennimore, and Mike and Pam Bartels, Boscobel.
Kayla graduated from Platteville High School in 2011. She is currently a stay-at-home mom.
Kody graduated from Riverdale High School in 2005. He attended the University of Wisconsin–Platteville and currently works in sales at Ubersox-Chrysler in Platteville.
