Sarah Walker of Lancaster, and Leon Navarro of Chicago, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The wedding ceremony will be at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 2, 2016 at The Chateau Bu-Sché in Alsip, Ill.  A reception and dance will follow the ceremony.
Parents of the future bride are David and Julie Walker of Lancaster. Parents of the future groom are Arnulfo and Maria Navarro of Chicago.
Sarah graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Masters Degree in Comparative and International Development Education.  She is employed with Destination Partners organizing short-term faculty led study abroad programs.
Leon graduated from Dunwoody College of Technology in Minneapolis with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Heating and AC System Design.  He is employed with Marriott International and works at the J.W. Marriott in Minneapolis as the engineering department supervisor.
The couple will reside in Minneapolis.
