Pastor writes Christian novel
Book signing Saturday
Kathy Jacobson
Rev. Kathy Jacobson

Rev. Kathy J. Jacobson, who serves as pastor at Castle Rock Lutheran Church and Peace–Bethlehem Lutheran Parish of Cobb and Edmund, recently published her debut Christian fiction novel, Noted!

Noted! is the story of Jillian Johnson, a Wisconsin nurse who seeks to make a new start in a new place at the beginning of a new year. She takes a “day job” that will help her “save her brain” for her true passion of writing. On her first day on the job, she finds herself unexpectedly confronted with a piece of her past. It will take every ounce of patience, and faith, for Jillian to get through the coming year.

Jacobson is a graduate of UW–Madison and Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque. She and husband Jeff lived in Platteville for 16 years before moving to Dodgeville.

Dodgeville Public Library, 139 S. Iowa St., is hosting an author talk and book launch on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. It is open to the public and refreshments will be served. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Other opportunities will be available in the area in the future to meet the author and buy books. Books are also available at Little Creek Press online bookstore, Amazon.com, and at the churches.
