Boscobel BP gas station

BOSCOBEL - A new owner and new managers have taken possession of Boscobel’s BP gas station on Highway 61.

Brothers Sunny and Hunni Toor are managing the station, but their father, a truck driver in India, is the owner.

The brothers say they intend to add a Hunt Brothers pizza oven and a cappuccino machine in the coming weeks, as well as a slushie machine come warmer weather. Their beer license has been approved, and they intend to open a beer cave. The pizzas will be available through online ordering.

“For at least two or three months we’re going to work here ourselves giving good customer service,” explained Hunni. “Once we know what the customers want and what they’re looking for, we will put that in place and then we will hire people.”

The business is family-run, he emphasized. Cousins also in the United States assist at the family’s other three service stations: The Shell in Muscoda and the Mobiles in Avoca and Cobb.

The brothers say they’ll be dropping some steep discounts and freebees in the coming weeks to raise awareness about their new offerings, so stay alert for deals. A grand opening will take place later, when the brothers have had a chance to finalize their offerings.
