DARLINGTON – Everything in life right now seems uncertain. But giving back and bringing a smile to others will certainly make things better.

Starting May 1, the Darlington Mini Mart will be donating 3 cents from every gallon sold at the Friendship Pump at their CITGO station to The Friendship Fund.

“We wanted to give back,” stated Jeremy Saunders, whose family owns the CITGO station. “We give a lot to many different events that are being canceled right now so we wanted to do something.”

The designated CITGO Spirit pump is decorated with ‘giving-hands’.

“The Friendship Fund is the best charity in the area. They don’t turn anyone down. If anyone needs help they will get help from them,” Saunders stated.

The deal runs thru July 31.
