PLATTEVILLE — On Oct. 3, Driftless Market hosted this month’s Women on Main event through the Platteville Main Street Program.

Women from around the area meet at Main Street businesses to visit with each other to make new friends or rekindle friendships the first Wednesday of the month from 4 to 6 p.m.

This event is open free of charge mainly to any area women.

Driftless Market asked Dr. Steffanie Nemitz of Nemitz Family Chiropractic and Wellness to be on hand to “Shop with a Doc” with refreshments and good conversation.

Nemitz uncovered some questions everyone asks themselves when it comes to food.  Some of the topics included Natural vs. Synthetic Sweeteners, processed CHOs vs. digestible CHOs, increase in energy and weight loss vs. chronic fatigue and suppressed immune system, and also diabetes and brain fog vs. increased memory and muscle mass.
