An Elroy man has been charged with first degree sexual assault of a child and with child enticement.

According to the criminal complaint,  Juneau County Child Protective Services  (CPS) received a report Nov. 6 of sexual assaults that reportedly occurred during the month of September in Elroy.

CPS officials met with the alleged victim Nov. 7. She said 52-year-old Jerry Sorenson had given her a white pill and had touched her inappropriately. The victim said she had passed out during the incident.

His initial court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 4.
