Darlington High School students attend American Players Theatre

The Darlington High School juniors and Advanced Placement Literature students recently attended a performance of Othello by William Shakespeare at the American Players Theatre in Spring Green.

The students had been studying the play and were able to see it, in part, because of a grant from the Excellence in Education Foundation. They also participated in a workshop led by an actress from APT the day after viewing Othello.

Most of the students had not been to APT or seen a live Shakespearean production prior to this field trip.
