Families with young children are invited to come play!

Free family fun nights are being held in five parks and playgrounds around the county this summer.   The first two are scheduled for Thursday, June 18 at the Gays Mills play area by the swimming pool and Thursday, June 25 at Sugar Creek Park in Ferryville.

Structured activities will be available from 6-7 p.m. and include parachute play, beanbag toss, obstacle course and more.  After the event, families are encouraged to check out the playground for more fun.

Additional family fun nights will be offered on July 9 in Wauzeka, July 16 in Seneca and August 13 in Prairie du Chien.

These events are sponsored by Healthy Roots of Crawford County in an on-going effort to connect people of all ages to the wonderful parks and playgrounds available in Crawford County.
