Mother Nature won't wait
tree-falling
Gretchen Graham talks to city worker Roger Bohn while Streets Superintendent Ted Groom hauls limbs to the chipper.

The city had marked a large rotted maple tree in the front of Gretchen Graham's Wisconsin Avenue yard for removal, but Mother Nature wouldn't wait. About the same time last Thursday afternoon that Utility crews were dealing with a similar situation on Church Street, Graham's tree came down - just grazing her new front porch and luckily landing between her house and next door neighbors Roger and Sharon Halverson. Graham is seen talking to city worker Roger Bohn while Streets Superintendent Ted Groom hauls limbs to the chipper.
