The Ocooch Mountain Rescue Squad will host an Open House on January 4 from 1-4 p.m.

The Open House marks the 10-year anniversary of service as a rescue squad, a distinction that allows the squad to transport medical emergency cases. Prior to that, the organization functioned as first responders only.

The new squad vehicle, just purchased last week, will be on display, as will the recently refinished floors of the building.

The 2014 Ocooch Mountain Rescue Squad includes Ann Anderson, Tom Chernowski, Nicole Fortney, Alex Kirchner, Peggy Lathrop, Jason Martin, Tina Martin, Adam McCarn, Brent McCarn, Larry McCarn, Tresa McCarn, Heather Mulholland, Rachel Myers, Illene Olson, Steve Randall, Tim Rosson, Becky Salmon (President), Todd Salmon, Jon Schuetz, Rusty Tainter, Gloria Wall, Earl Winsor and Bill Zirk.

Light refreshments will be offered. Everyone within the extended community is invited.
