The Platteville City Band, conducted by Barry Ellis, and clarinetist Corey Mackey of the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra opened the annual Music in the Park series in City Park Thursday. Students from the UW–Platteville Summer Band Camp also performed. Mackey will be joining UW–Platteville as professor of clarinet this fall.
