The 2015 Grant County Relay for Life will be held in UW–Platteville’s Williams Fieldhouse from Friday at 6 p.m. to Saturday at 7 a.m.
The participants will be part of the more than 4 million people in more than 20 countries raising funds and awareness to save lives from cancer.
The opening ceremony will be held Friday at 6 p.m., with the luminary ceremony at 10 p.m. The closing ceremony will be Saturday at 7 a.m. A silent auction will be held Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.
The Miss Relay will be held at 7:10 p.m. The Colleges Against Cancer Relay Olympics will be held at 12;15 a.m.
The Southwest Dance Academy will perform at 7:20 p.m., with belly dancing and lessons at 1 a.m., line dance lessons at 2:30 a.m., and zumba class at 5 a.m. Music includes Tristan Hirsch at 6:45 p.m., Untamed at 8:15 p.m., and a swing band at 11:15 p.m.
