Ready, set, and rummage!

This weekend is the annual Rummage Along the River on Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

‘Rummage Along the River’ is a 70-mile garage sale extravaganza that winds along Highway 35, Wisconsin’s Great River Road. Stoddard, Genoa, the Bad Axe, DeSoto, Ferryville and Lynxville are the river towns and then you swing up County E to Highway 27 to hit Seneca and Mt. Sterling for more shopping. Stop at the local gas station to get garage sale maps.

You can find just about anything at Rummage on the River.

What better way to spend a Friday or Saturday than to drive the Great River Road National Scenic Byway Highway 35, shop for bargains and enjoy the fabulous scenery, wildlife, local places and people. Make it a day of great memories.

Where to find the garage sales in each community? Stop at the local gas station for a list of the places. Check out Craig’s List, Ferryville’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ferryvillewi) and Ferryville Tourism Council’s website which is www.visitferryville.com.
