Semi strikes car

At approximately 12:04 p.m. on Jan. 20, the Grant County Sheriff's Department responded to a vehicle crash on Highway 151 near County O. Jason J. Durr, 34, Platteville, was driving a 1998 Dodge Neon south on Highway 151 when it was struck in the rear by a semi owned by America's Service Line. Durr's car came to rest in the median.
Scott A. Durr, 36, Platteville, and the two male juveniles, ages 11 and 15, Platteville, were transported to Southwest Health Center in Platteville, by Platteville EMS.
The Platteville Fire Department, Platteville EMS, Platteville First Responders and the Wisconsin State Patrol assisted at the scene.
The vehicle was removed by Precision Auto.
John P. Grier, 38, Iron Mountain, Mich., the driver of the semi, was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
The Dodge Neon was a total loss, while the 2009 Freightliner semi sustained moderate damage.
