Tainter Creek Watershed and West Fork Kickapoo well test results to be reviewed

JESSICA HAUCKE of the UW-Stevens Point Center for Watershed Science and Education is on-hand on Tuesday, Nov. 5, to receive well water samples from the Tainter Creek Watershed Council. Watershed council members Chuck and Karen Bolstad volunteered to drive the samples up to the lab.

DRIFTLESS - Two meetings where scientists from the UW-Stevens Point Center for Watershed Science and Education (CWSE) will present well testing results for local watersheds have been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 13. Results for well water testing in the Tainter Creek and West Fork Kickapoo Watersheds will be presented at those meetings.

West Fork Kickapoo results will be presented on Thursday, Feb. 13 at Nature Nooks Retreat’s Kinship Place conference room. The meeting will start promptly at 6 p.m., and last for one hour. 

Tainter Creek Watershed results will be presented on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 7:30 p.m. presentation to the at the Franklin Town Hall in Liberty Pole. The farmers of the Tainter Creek Watershed Council will hold their regular business meeting at 6:30, preceding presentation of the well water testing results.
