On Tuesday, June 23, the Soldiers Grove and Gays Mills libraries, along with North Crawford Schools, are co-sponsoring a visit from Service Dogs of Wisconsin.

A non-profit organization based in Verona, Service Dogs of Wisconsin’s all-volunteer staff works to train and partner service dogs with individuals with mobility impairments to enhance their independence and confidence, while providing companionship. Julie Denu (trainer) will be bringing Agape, an 18-month-old Golden Retriever, to help demonstrate and explain how these heroic dogs are trained to assist their human companions.

There will be two opportunities to attend this program at North Crawford Schools in the morning at 10 a.m. and after lunch, at 12:45 p.m.

North Crawford Schools are located at 47050 County Road X, Soldiers Grove.
