The Seneca Lions are preparing for their Ninth Annual Wild Game Feed to be held on Sunday, March 2. Depending on availability, Lions members and other volunteers will be preparing various entrees of venison, rabbit, antelope, buffalo, beaver, turkey, pheasant and catfish. Some of the anticipated dishes include roasted rabbit, pulled venison, buffalo meatballs, wild turkey & noodles, venison chili and deep fried catfish. In addition mashed potatoes, corn and coleslaw will compliment the meal along with delicious homemade desserts.

Serving will be from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Seneca Town Hall located on Taylor Ridge Road. There is no charge for admission but there will be a Free Will Offering with the proceeds to fund scholarships for graduating high school seniors and for the new concession stand/bathroom project.

There will also be raffles held during the event.

The Seneca Lions will also have containers available for used eyeglasses and hearing aids. The donated eyeglasses will be shipped to the Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center in Rosholt, Wisconsin where they are sorted, cleaned and categorized by prescription and prepared for distribution by Lions and other Groups. Both functioning and non-functioning used hearing aids are collected and recycled for salvage credit, allowing for the purchase of new hearing aids for recipients of the Lions Hearing Project.
