Fennimore alumni Kieler working at library site
Sean Library

One of Fennimore’s own is on the current expansion project going on at the Dwight T. Parker Public Library.

Sean Kieler is not only a 1998 graduate of Fennimore High School, but also a 1999 graduate of Southwest Wisconsin Technical College in their Bricklaying/Masonry program.

The son of Jim and Julie Baumgartner of Fennimore, and Roger Kieler of Cuba City, Kieler has been doing masonry/bricklaying since graduation from Southwest Tech.

The library expansion is Kieler’s second go around working on a “hometown project” as he previously did work on the high school addition during the 2014-2015 school year, then employed Kramer Brothers.

Kieler, now employed with Strine Design Masonry LLC, Lone Rock/Spring Green, has been back working in Fennimore since spring laying brick, and should be in town working on the library for the next few weeks yet as the project nears its completion later this summer.

“In construction you have to travel everywhere,” Kieler stated. “So it’s nice to be able to work back home.”
