Meeting on PlattevilleBelmont Trail Monday

A public informational meeting is scheduled on the proposed Platteville–Belmont paved trail at the Belmont Convention Center, 102 W. Mound Ave., Monday, Oct. 27 at 5 p.m.

The meeting is being held by the City of Platteville, Grant County, Lafayette County and the state Department of Natural Resources. Representatives of IIW P.C., which is designing the path, will present an overview at 5:30 p.m. Input is being collected for shared motorized and non-motorized use of the eastern half-mile of the path in Belmont.

The meeting will not include the western part of the path, the Moving Platteville Outdoors Rountree Branch trail project.
