Hanging on before the fall
2nd St tree

Predicted severe weather that threatened high winds and heavy rains Friday and Saturday failed to materialize, which means that trees like this one on North Fourth Street still have their brilliant red and, elsewhere, yellow leaves while our warmer-than-normal autumn continues, with temperatures in the 60s and 70s predicted for this week. According to TravelWisconsin.com, fall colors are not at their peak in southwest Wisconsin yet.
