The Platteville July 4th Fund is seeking donations for this year’s day-long celebration, including fireworks at Legion Field at dusk.

The Independence Day activities at Legion Field include food, music, the Jaycees bean bag tournament and beer tent, a softball tournament, and children’s activities.

A special Independence Day program will be held at the Veterans Honor Roll at City Park at 10 a.m. The Rollo Jamison Museum will hold a 5K walk/run as part of its Heritage Day activities.
