Launch fee takes effect at Boscobel boatlanding
Boat landing

The Boscobel Boat Landing Commission met Monday to discuss its new launch/landing fee, which went into effect Aug. 1.

“I’m getting bombarded with complaints on my Facebook page,” said Commission member Jen Borzick of Tall Tails Sports & Spirits. “People complained about the smell in the bathroom and the lack of trash cans. I’m still getting some and I’ll keep you informed.”

Tall Tails  and Krachey’s BP are the two Boscobel retailers that sell daily launch passes for $2. Otherwise the pass is $4 daily if purchased at City Hall or the boat landing’s “Iron Warden.” Annual passes are $20, and if purchased this year are good through March 31, 2020.  For the complete story please see the August 9, 2018 issue of the Boscobel Dial.
