On December 14, the yearly collection of items to take to the Tomah V.A. facility was conducted in the lobby of Richland County Bank. On December 15, VFW Post 2267 member Andy Freeman drove the van to Tomah, with Marge Freeman and Debra Mueller assisting with unloading. Total amount raised was $2,694.00, which assists the Tomah V.A. Activity Christmas Fund. The total consists of cash donations of $1,355.00 and an additional $200.00 donated by Chapter VII Vietnam Veterans of Richland County, with the total of a $1,555.00 cashiers check presented to the Tomah V.A., along with in-kind donations estimated at $1,139.00; including toiletries, quilts, lap blankets, hats, socks, books, writing tablets, art supplies, as well as apples and apple cider from Oakwood Fruit Farm. Gratitude is extended to Richland County Bank for its support of the annual fundraiser.
