One of Vince Lombardi’s great players is coming to Richland Center.
Dave Robinson, a member of the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame and the NFL’s 1960 All-Decade team, will be at the Phoenix Center Sunday, Dec. 4, from 2:30-6 p.m.
If you want to watch a Packer game with a great player this is your chance. The Packers and Giants will play the late game, with a 3:15 kickoff.
Robinson played for the Packers from 1963-72 and alongside fellow linebackers Ray Nitschke and Lee Roy Caffey, was selected as part of the sixth greatest trio of linebackers in the history of the NFL.
Along with co-author Royce Boyles of Rock Springs, Robinson has written two books on the great Vince Lombardi. The Lombardi Impact: Twenty People Who Were Brushed by Greatness and The Lombardi Legacy: Thirty People Who Were Touched by Greatness will be available for purchase.
Both authors will sign the books for no additional cost.
Each of the books will be for sale at $25, just in time for Christmas.
Vince Lombardi Jr. told the co-authors, “I have learned things about my father I didn’t know by reading your books.”
Dave Robinson and his Super Bowl One ring will be at The Phoenix Center here in Richland Center, Sunday, Dec. 4, from 2:30-6 p.m.
