Darlington holds first glow run

The first 5K K9 glow run was held in Darlington on Saturday, Oct. 26 and was well attended with a total of 209 participants showing up to get their glow on while they ran, said Amy Prine, director of the Dora Ritter Wellness Center.
    The event was a collaboration between the Darlington Police Department and the Dora Ritter Wellness Center and the proceeds from the run will go towards the Darlington Police Department’s K9 unit.
    The total amount that was raised by the run was not available before press time.
