FIRE DESTROYED a barn on Co. F in the town of Belmont on Tuesday, Nov. 22, on the property owned by Alan and Gina Leahy. The initial call to the Belmont Fire Department was made at 8:30 a.m. The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department also responded along with Darlington and Shullsburg fire departments. The barn was used for equipment storage and housed some animals. It was a total loss.
