Boaz man kayaks length of the Wisconsin River

The mighty Wisconsin River is a popular destination for many who love water adventures. Canoes, kayaks, standup paddleboards and motor boats can all be seen throughout the summer meandering around sandbars and lazily floating along.

Most take single or two-day trips. However, rural Boaz resident Ben Sasse took things a step further. Sasse found himself recently on the river for nearly nine days in an attempt at setting a record.
