Build a Better World at the Muscoda Library
BABW

The Muscoda Library welcomed over 150 new patrons since we opened in our new building.  If you have been thinking of visiting the library but didn’t get a chance yet, there is no time like the summer for a visit!

Did you know that children who are read to at an early age and read for fun later are more likely to be successful in school?

With that in mind, our Summer Reading Program (Build a Better World) began June 5 and will end August 31.  Children may sign up for the Read to Me program or the Independent Reader program, and just so teens and adults don’t miss out of all of the fun, we have a reading program created specifically for them!  Ask a staff member about any of our reading programs.

We have been excited to have members of Mrs. Drone’s 2016-2017 4K class stop in and give us the secret password (provided by their teacher) in order to receive a special gift.  We are looking forward to seeing many more of Mrs. Drone’s class members during the summer.

During June we are holding a pre-school story time on Tuesdays between 10-11 a.m. beginning June 13.   Emily will be sharing stories and activities with the children.  Parents are asked to accompany their children & no pre-registration is required.
