Richland Center, WI - In 2015, Richland Hospital staff and board members said goodbye and thank you to retiring board member, Dwayne Hiltbrand.  He was a member of the Richland Hospital’s Board of Directors for nine years, serving from 2006 through 2015. In addition to serving on the board, Hiltbrand became a Board Officer, serving as the Secretary of the Board in 2009 and then the Treasurer of the Board in 2010.

Bob Nugent, current Chairman of the Board, recently shared his sentiments regarding Hiltbrand’s tenure.

The Richland Hospital Board of Directors wishes to thank Dwayne Hiltbrand for his nine years of service to the Richland Hospital.  His financial expertise, his ability to analyze, solve and diffuse  problems, his easy going manner and his down home humor will be greatly missed at the Board Meetings.  It has been my pleasure to work with Dwayne on the Richland Hospital Board.

In addition to his service as an officer on the Board of Directors, Hiltrand served on multiple Richland Hospital committees including the following.

Finance committee

Executive committee

Building and Equipment committee

Long Range Planning committee

Health Career Scholarship committee

Richland Hospital CEO, Bruce Roesler shared that the community members on the board have a tough job to do, but provide an invaluable service to the Richland Hospital.

“It is challenging for community members to work to learn the aspects of healthcare governance and then mesh that with being the voice of the community,” he said. “We are very fortunate to have board members who take the time to make the Richland Hospital a priority on behalf of our community. We thank Dwayne for his hours of service and dedication to the Richland Hospital.”
