Arlin E. Erickson, age 84, of Monroe, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. He was born on May 3, 1930 in Lafayette County, the son of George and Frances (Engebretson) Erickson.
     Funeral services were held at 11:00 am. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 at the Monroe United Methodist Church, with Reverend Randy Booth officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe with military honors. A visitation was held Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a Masonic service at 7:00 p.m. at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home.
