Bernie Murphy left us on April 17th, 2024. He was deeply loved.

Bernard Jerome Murphy was born November 7, 1933. He grew up in Rolling Ground, Wisconsin, with his big Irish family. Parents Vince and Nellie Murphy and siblings Joe, Catherine, Maritia, Teresa, Monica, John, Jim, and Michael. He graduated from North Crawford High School, left the family farm, and enlisted in the U.S. Army, spending part of his service in post war Germany, an experience he carried for the rest of his life.  

Please join family and friends for a celebration of Bernie’s life. It will be held on Thursday, April 25; visitation at 11 a.m. and memorial at 12 p.m. at Apfel-Wolfe Funeral Home, Janesville. Donations directed to Agrace Hospice in Janesville. Family interment on a date to follow.
