Dale E. Weigel, 90, Platteville, died on Monday, July  2 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Lancaster.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 7 at the Lutheran Church of Peace in Platteville. Rev. Jeff Pedersen officiated. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery in Platteville. Military Rites were accorded by American Legion Post #42 and VFW Post #5274. Visitation was from 4–8 p.m. on Friday, July 6 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church on Saturday.
