Daniel “Dan” John Wedeberg, 73, of Gays Mills, passed away at home July 8, 2026, after a long illness with his family by his side.

He was born in Viroqua on June 29, 1953, the son of Alfred and Alice (Danielson) Wedeberg. He graduated from North Crawford High School in 1972. After graduation, Dan farmed on the home farm with his parents for most of his life. After farming, he worked for Design Homes in Prairie du Chien and the township of Haney.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Sterling Lutheran Church Cemetery Association or a charity of choice.

Dan’s family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice for the compassionate care they provided.

A Funeral Service for Dan was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2026, at the Mt. Sterling Lutheran Church. Visitation was held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Dan was laid to rest in the church cemetery. Online Condolences may be expressed at www.vossfh.com.
