Professor David L. Bushnell, 85, Mineral Point, formerly of Platteville, Spring Green and DeKalb, Ill., died on Monday, Dec. 8 at the Mineral Point Care Center in Mineral Point.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Platteville. Rev. Zayna Thompson will officiate. Burial will be at the Muscoda Cemetery in Muscoda. Visitation will be  from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Northern Illinois University Foundation, P.O. Box 746, DeKalb, IL 60115, to be used for financial assistance of students majoring in physics.
